“If You Want Peace, Work for Justice”

We started work in 2001 – at the peak of the insurgency waged by the rebels of the Lord’s Resistance Army in Northern Uganda. After two decades of civil war, we continued to be one of the main organizations to identify, document, report and monitor human rights violations across the post-conflict region. Today our main focus is on GBV, land conflicts as well as the reconciliation and peaceful coexistence of quarreling clans and tribes.
